Left at 10:15 for Jackson, Wyoming. Followed the Snake River up canyon to Montpelier, where we grocery shopped - $82. On to Holiday Trav-L Park. Everyone approved overwhelmingly. Nestled down in a valley with horses, volleyball, hayrides, swimming, campfires, and fishing pond. Chicken Divan for dinner, and grilled cheese for the kids.
Hooked up, settled in, Donna took nap, Bob asked neighbors to turn down music, watched neighbors shoot fireworks and pass a "joint". Stormed down to office, requested another site, unhooked, packed up, and moved two streets away.
Neighbor dog Nifty and Heidi made friends and have a common interest (tennis ball). Kids finally nagged us into playing volleyball, where we were joined by another family. Donna hurt her foot and dropped out - old age, we think. Neighbors from Las Vegas offered us their campfire. Finally a real camping experience.
Greg, Bobby, Mike, and KK offered to sleep out under the stars until the temperature dropped into the thirties and their noses and toes fell off. Bobby sneaked back into the coach and slept on the floor. Donna stepped on his head in the middle of the night - scared them both!
